OFFICIAL PACE TEAM FOR THE SEATTLE MARATHON FAMILY OF EVENTS

 

The Seattle Green Lake Running Group is 14+ years old and is a great community of runners that welcomes all levels in supporting and encouraging each other to reach a variety of running, fitness and health goals.

Every year we do a 12 week build up for the Seattle Half Marathon.  We have group runs everyday of the week, which makes it easy to join with others for your weekly training runs.  We do our long runs on Saturday mornings at 7am and with 80+ runners showing up it is easy to find others to share your miles with.  We will be sharing a weekly running schedule that folks can follow as they prepare for the race.  Coming out for our Saturday morning run can be a great way to get out there, make sure you are consistent with that weekly long run and run with the official pace team of the Seattle Marathon.  This will be our 11th year as the official pace team for the Seattle Marathon.  

 

Our weekly runs can be found at rungreenlake.com.  We are a free group and everyone is welcome!  The best way to get started is to check out our run calendar on meet up and RSVP for the runs that work for your schedule.

 

If you are looking for company, then share your plan in the comments of that page.  As fall approaches it can be important to establish a routine and find folks to run with, so when the weather changes, it won't kill your routine. 

Our 12 week build up for the Seattle half marathon will kick off the 2nd week of September.  Erin & Justine will be leading this and sharing a suggested weekly running schedule each week for folks to follow. MEETUP HERE

Ensure your workout routine stays routine while exploring the best of Seattle on foot. Our RunWESTIN route helps you exercise like a local! Let our Run Concierge know your experience level and they’ll recommend the best route. Every Wednesday at 6:30AM.

 

Runners of all levels are invited to run with us every Wednesday at 6:30AM. Sign-up for free by choosing your preferred date above OR contact the front desk.
